ATEC’s® Free-Standing Cage is engineered to install on any surface without the need for frame footings. The frames are the best available and easily installed with just two people in only a couple of hours.
Frames and nets are available in standard 17 ft., 24 ft., 35 ft., 54 ft. and 70 ft. lengths. All frame footprints are 17’6” W x 12’ H. All net systems are 15’ W x 12’ H.
ATEC Free-Standing frames are built from 1 3/4" square steel tube and feature a rich and durable powder-coat finish for the ultimate in weather resistance. All frames include chain suspension for hanging the net, allowing it to move freely in use. Footpads are also included for all uprights to permit damage-free use on any surface.
The ATEC net system is made using knotted, braided nylon and you can choose from Long-Life #30, Professional #36 mesh or even special Golf mesh. The #36 mesh is rated over 320 lb. break strength for extra long wear. The #30 netting is rated at a break strength over 280 lbs. All nets are built with metal corner brackets that allow quick and easy adjustments as the mesh stretches over time.
Tunnel frames are designed to be portable and are stable under normal conditions. On permanent installations, to protect against wind damage, frames must be secured by guy wires. Netting should always be removed during extreme weather conditions.
